Bio

PREMIÈRE ANNÉE (2022-2023)

A participé à tous les matchs de la saison régulière et des éliminatoires ainsi qu’à 4 matchs présaison pour les Gee-Gees… A terminé la saison régulière avec une moyenne de 7,2 points, 3,7 rebonds et 0,6 passe décisive par match, ce qui lui a valu une place sur l’équipe d’étoiles des recrues des SUO… Au championnat national, a conservé une moyenne de 7,3 points et 2,3 rebonds en 22,3 minutes jouées par match… A marqué 26 points, un sommet en carrière, et enregistré 6 rebonds et 1 interception contre Algoma (2 déc.)… A remporté le titre de recrue masculine de l’année de l’Université d’Ottawa.

AVANT LES GEE-GEES 

Guemeta est originaire de Douala, la plus grande ville du Cameroun, où il a fréquenté le Collège Libermann. Après avoir obtenu son diplôme, il a fait une demande d’admission dans diverses universités canadiennes. Il a fréquenté l’Université de Moncton au Nouveau-Brunswick et joué quelques matchs hors-concours pour l’Université Crandall (ACAA) au cours de la saison 2020-2021, annulée en raison de la COVID-19. En l’absence d’un programme de basketball à Moncton, il a été transféré à l’Université d’Ottawa et s’est joint aux Gee-Gees en 2022.
